（北京消息說有人提出1905年所謂第一部華語片《定軍山》可能從未實際開拍，那麼這華語片百周年紀念就認真擺了大烏龍了）

2005 was also the centenary of Einstein's theory of special relativity.
It was a rare, genuine revolution in intellectual history (as oppose to a mere shift of intellectual fads like one "-ism" replacing another)
I think in terms of impact(both philosphically and practically)this should have topped your list.
